How It Works
ParkSmart is easy to use with a simple touch of a button when exiting your vehicle. Below are some more detailed steps showing you how it works.
Step 1 – Press the Button
Push the ParkSmart sensor button when exiting the vehicle to activate. It will light up in green and beep three times when ready.
Step 2 – Close the Door
Exit the vehicle, close the door and lock your vehicle. The system will arm within 30 seconds.
Step 3 – Enjoy Your Outing
While you’re away, the sensors monitor ramp obstructions like vehicles and motorcycles within 8 ft of your vehicle.
Obstructions Detected
If an obstruction is detected, the system will sound the alarm and play a message that will repeat three times.
Alert the Individual
The message alerts the individual that they are obstructing the accessible vehicle and asks them to clear the obstruction.
